UnionTech has introduced Quick AI, which it describes as an enterprise "Agent OS" for industrial 3D printing. On the platform, the company said, process engineers can build their own Process Agents to log process workflows, experimental results and empirical parameters, so a finished job leaves behind a record of the decisions taken along the way rather than only the final recipe.
According to UnionTech, producing a process plan for a complex part previously took anywhere from several hours to multiple days. For new projects backed by historical precedent and comparable case data, engineers can now generate an initial plan in minutes, after which teams review it and schedule validation for the critical risks. The company said that timing covers only the initial proposal and not full process validation, and that complex components still require engineering reviews and physical trials.
Allen Yang, UnionTech's vice general manager and head of its digital center and AI, said hardware determines what the company can build, but that whether a complex project can be formulated quickly and delivered reliably depends on engineering expertise and workflow coordination.
Quick AI is designed to work alongside the company's existing software: Unionfab Cloud for customer engagement, quotations, order management and supply chain logistics; Unionfab ONE for 3D model preparation, process configuration and machine control; and the Auto Product Suite for algorithmic development. UnionTech said its systems have accumulated nearly 5 million industrial part models together with their process parameter datasets. Unionfab has already deployed automated quoting for standardized requirements, with specialized and complex projects routed to manual engineering review.
The company said decisions involving pricing commitments, critical tolerances and stringent quality specifications remain governed by established rules and human sign-off. In targeted production programs such as tire mold manufacturing, UnionTech said it has deployed combined equipment, material, software and process recipe packages.
