HONOR X9e Pro goes on sale with 11,000mAh battery

HONOR lists X9e Pro

HONOR said the X9e Pro is now available in markets, with the announcement made in Dubai on 29 October. The company said the device combines a large battery, durability ratings and a high-brightness display.

Battery rated at 11,000mAh

The X9e Pro carries an 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which HONOR described as the largest in the industry. The company said performance was validated in its own testing at temperatures of up to 50°C, and that the battery is designed for six years of use. The phone supports 80W HONOR SuperCharge and 27W wired reverse charging for compatible phones and accessories.

Three-metre drop rating and IP69K

HONOR said the phone is designed to withstand drops of up to three metres onto smooth marble, and drops of up to 1.2 metres at multiple angles. It carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, has been tested for immersion at depths of up to 10 metres under laboratory conditions, and is designed to withstand hot-water splashes of up to 85°C. The company also lists underwater shooting capability.

Display and camera

The 6.8-inch 1.5K display runs at up to 120Hz and reaches peak brightness of 10,000 nits, which HONOR called the highest for a display, with support for wet-hand and glove touch. The 108MP AI Ultra-Clear camera uses CIPA 6.0-level stabilisation, and the company said cloud-assisted AI imaging refines detail, colour and clarity in portraits, night scenes and digital zoom compositions.
