Casio said in the release that it will bring out the CMK-100, a mechanical watch it describes as lightweight. The watch is offered in five variants: one with a titanium band, two with nylon bands and two with leather bands. Dial options are black, gray and brown.
Titanium case and matte dial
The case is made of titanium, and both the case and the bezel carry a hairline finish. A matte texture on the dial is intended to limit reflected light. Raised indexes are coated with several layers of phosphorescent paint, which Casio said creates contrast in the dark and across a range of light conditions.
10-bar rating and Japanese movement
The CMK-100 carries 10-bar water resistance, which Casio said suits everyday use and outdoor activities. It is powered by an automatic movement made in Japan.
