What Cavli is bringing
Cavli Wireless said it will unveil the P16QS LTE Cat 1bis System-on-Module and a firmware engineering assistant called Cortex AI at electronica 2026, which runs from November 10 to 13 at Messe München in Munich. The company will exhibit at Hall C2, Booth 628, alongside its 5G RedCap and 5G NR modules and its Hubble connectivity platform, according to the company's announcement.
The P16QS module
The P16QS is a compact module built for connected devices including payment terminals, soundboxes, instrument clusters, vehicle telematics and asset tracking. It is powered by a 32-bit RISC-V processor at 325 MHz and supports RTOS-based application development. The company lists peak LTE Cat 1bis speeds of 10 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4, an integrated secure element with interfaces for NFC, smart cards and magnetic-stripe readers, optional GNSS and optional eSIM. It measures 40.0 × 30.0 × 2.7 mm in an LGA package. Cavli said it will show the module in a point-of-sale concept at the fair.
Cortex AI and the 5G line-up
Cortex AI, the company said, brings programming tools, technical resources and hardware testing into one workflow and automates code generation, compilation, flashing and device boot-up. Cavli said it aims to cut development cycles that are usually measured in months down to weeks, depending on project complexity. The company will also show router prototypes built on its CQM220 5G RedCap module, based on 3GPP Release 17 and the Qualcomm SDX35 chipset, and its CQM211 5G NR module, based on Release 16 and the Qualcomm SDX61 chipset, both offered in LGA and M.2 form factors.
Hubble and the magazine
Cavli said it will demonstrate its Hubble platform live, covering cellular connectivity, eSIM lifecycle management, device monitoring, remote diagnostics and firmware updates, including remote AT-command access and device-to-cloud data routing. Printed copies of the first edition of its Cavli360 IoT Magazine will be available at the booth.
