Olight launched the Oclip 2 Series at its O-Fan Day event, adding the Oclip 2 Pro and the Oclip 2 Ultra. The clip lights are aimed at mechanics, public safety professionals, outdoor enthusiasts and other users who need adjustable hands-free lighting with more than one light source, the company said. The series follows a clip-light line that Olight says has more than one million users worldwide.
Both models use a dual-axis design in which the head tilts up to 115 degrees and the clip rotates a full 360 degrees, so the beam can be aimed after mounting without moving the mounting point. Self-locking pivots hold the selected angle. Durability testing covered 10,000 clipping cycles and 10,000 rotation cycles for the mechanism.
The Oclip 2 Pro carries three lighting modes in one body: flood, spot and red light. Flood output reaches up to 530 lumens, spot range up to 125 meters and red output up to 40 lumens. The Oclip 2 Ultra adds UV light through an R/UV emitter that combines red and UV light in the body, which Olight described as an industry first, bringing the total to four light sources. Its flood output reaches up to 580 lumens and spot range up to 130 meters, with UV output up to 800 mW for inspections. The Ultra also adds an OAL aluminum body and head and an OclipBeat breathing light that changes color with cumulative usage time.
Across the series, dual magnets at the MCC tail and the clip let the light be fixed to compatible metal surfaces in different orientations. Both models support USB-C and MCC charging, and each Premium version includes a 1,000 mAh Mobile Charging Dock that recharges the light on the go, stretches total runtime to roughly twice that of the light alone and shows the battery levels of both the light and the dock.
The Oclip 2 Pro comes in Classic Black, High-Visibility Orange and Tidal Blue; the Oclip 2 Ultra comes in Olive Green, Onyx Black and Amber Orange. Both are sold worldwide through the Olight Official Store and authorized retailers. Standard versions are priced at $49.99 for the Oclip 2 Pro and $69.99 for the Oclip 2 Ultra, with pricing for other versions listed by the store.
