ATTACK SHARK launches MEGA B2 mouse with TMR magnetic switches

ATTACK SHARK has launched the MEGA B2, a gaming mouse built for esports players, the company said. It combines TMR-based magnetic micro-switches with Rapid Trigger, adjustable haptic feedback in both primary buttons, wired and wireless 8,000Hz polling, a PixArt sensor and software-based tuning.

The switch detects button movement through magnetic sensing rather than physical contacts, which the company said allows actuation distances adjustable down to 0.1mm. Rapid Trigger lets activation and reset points respond to movement instead of waiting for a fixed reset distance, so repeated inputs can follow one another faster. Trigger sensitivity is adjustable, and the contact-free design is intended to reduce the switch wear associated with mechanical parts. Linear motors in the two main buttons provide haptic feedback whose intensity and trigger sensitivity can be adjusted separately.

A customized PixArt PAW3955MAX sensor handles tracking, with 1 to 60,000 DPI in 1-DPI increments, 20,000 FPS, 850 IPS and 75G acceleration, alongside a Nordic 54LM20 MCU. The mouse supports 8,000Hz polling in both wired and wireless modes, and its receiver, shaped around an extended antenna, carries LED indicators for connection status, polling rate and battery life.

It weighs 63±3g and uses a reinforced button-module frame. DPI, button assignments, polling rate and virtual sensor offset can be set through a web-based driver or PC software. A 300mAh battery is rated at up to 360 hours at a 1,000Hz polling rate, and the mouse has a cooling glass-like surface coating and a TTC Gold Wheel encoder.

The launch follows ATTACK SHARK's partnership with Cloud9's League of Legends team, which the company said gives it closer engagement with competitive players. ATTACK SHARK said it has more than 10 million users globally.
