Wuhan date for DTC 2026

TCL CSOT will hold its Global Display Tech-Ecosystem Conference 2026 in Wuhan, China, on November 13, the company said in the release. The event is billed under the theme "TRUE VISION, AI IN MOTION" and will set out the company's work on inkjet printing OLED, its APEX display technologies, AI applications and next-generation display products.

Inkjet OLED edges toward production

After more than a decade of research and development, TCL CSOT's IJP OLED work is shifting from proving the technology to making it at scale, a stage the company described as critical to commercialization. Its uses are widening beyond medical displays into IT and consumer products, which the company said points to room for the technology in monitors and future intelligent devices.

APEX lineup spans comfort and form

The conference will also show a broad lineup of APEX platform developments, covering the viewing experience, visual health, sustainability and new device forms. TCL CSOT said the exhibits are intended to tie technology development to practical uses, spanning picture quality, viewing comfort and fresh product shapes and use cases for industry partners and guests.

Executives and a science writer to speak

Jun Zhao, senior vice president of TCL Technology and CEO of TCL CSOT, Xiaolin Yan, CTO of TCL Technology and TCL CSOT, and science writer Weigang Wan, a Wenjin Book Award winner, are expected to take part. Their sessions will look at how AI is reshaping display standards, human-machine interaction, product development and user experience. The company said more details of the programme would be announced later.
