Parcel Perform has renamed itself Perform.AI and launched an AI Commerce Operating System, the company said. The announcement was made on Sept. 22, 2026. The system is intended to run the e-commerce journey end to end, from a merchant being found to the parcel being delivered.
It covers AI Commerce Visibility, Checkout, Post-Purchase and Returns, with Logistics doing daily work in collaboration with shipping partners underneath. The company said AI Decision Intelligence sits behind those products, reading the data, forming a view on what should happen next and acting on it, optimizing for gross margin.
Once an e-commerce business is live on Perform.AI, its marketing, logistics operations and customer service teams can connect to Perform.AI data through the Model Context Protocol and get answers about their e-commerce operations inside the AI tool they already work in, according to the company.
Dr. Arne Jeroschewski, co-founder and chief executive, said an AI agent deciding which brand to recommend reads what a brand promised and checks what it actually delivered, and that merchants can see that record before the agent does. He said loyalty and advertising do not move an AI agent, but consistent performance does, and that AI Commerce Visibility was announced in October 2025 so brands can see how AI recommends the product lines they sell. Dana von der Heide, co-founder and chief customer officer, said performance was always the point for the company, which started as Parcel Perform ten years ago, and that the parcel was the unit of work it began with.
The company said the system handles more than 100 billion parcel updates a year for thousands of brands, with more than 1,100 carrier integrations across more than 160 countries. That data is used to catch a delay before a customer emails to ask about it, and to pick the cheapest carrier most likely to hit a promised date.
