iQIYI said average daily viewing time across its platforms increased by more than 12% during the National Day holiday, from October 1 to 7, compared with the period before the holiday. Television screens accounted for nearly 60% of average daily viewing time, and in-car viewing rose by nearly 60% year over year, the company said.

The Suspense Theater drama "The Old Story of Yu Hong" reached an iQIYI content popularity index of 8,414, and data from Enlightent, which the release describes as a Chinese entertainment data provider, put its peak market share at 63.4%. "A Prophet", "Spring of the Blade" and "Shadow Punisher" stayed within the top five of iQIYI's drama charts.

Stephen Chow's "Kung Fu Soccer" began streaming on the platform on October 3 and topped the film heat index, the company said. Revenue-sharing box office for the "The Ferry Man" AIGC series, a model in which production partners share earnings with iQIYI based on viewership, passed RMB 10 million (US$1.5 million) by October 3. The variety show "Two Stars, One Boss" recorded a peak market share of 51.4% on Enlightent's ranking of new variety shows.

Interaction time in Taodou World, described as a virtual community where users can interact in real time with more than 1,000 AI-powered characters from iQIYI titles, rose by more than 40% during the holiday. Average daily viewing time for micro animation increased by 57%, and two new children's releases held the top two places on the platform's children's content popularity charts.

iQIYI LAND Yangzhou recorded visitors from Jiangsu and neighbouring provinces and municipalities including Zhejiang, Anhui, Shanghai and Shandong, with families and cross-generational groups making up more than 80% of guests. The company said it would continue refining its content strategy and using AIGC to enhance storytelling.
