Virtual visits added
Cerbo said its clinical documentation tool, AI Scribe, now works on virtual visits made through Cerbo Telemedicine and Zoom. The tool captures the conversation and drafts a structured note inside the chart for the provider to review, edit and sign, the company said.
Notes stay drafts until signoff
Nothing reaches the patient record on its own, the company said: every note remains a draft until a provider reviews, edits and signs it. AI Scribe runs inside Cerbo's existing HIPAA-compliant infrastructure and works the same way for in-person and virtual visits, without a separate app or an outside workflow to manage.
Availability and cost
AI Scribe is available to Cerbo customers today under Settings > AI Scribe. For AI Scribe users with Cerbo Telemedicine or the Zoom integration, virtual visit support is included at no additional cost, the company said. AI Scribe launched in August as a scribe built directly into the Cerbo EHR, with no separate login and no dictation app. Further details are on Cerbo's AI Scribe page.
What the company says it is for
Nishant Phadnis, Cerbo's chief product officer, said the goal is to take out the time-consuming administrative work that pulls providers away from the patient in front of them, and that telehealth was a natural next step so that a provider on a video visit gets the same relief from charting as one in the appointment room. The release refers to documentation left until the evening as "pajama time."
