A second listing
SINEXCEL, which trades as 300693.SZ and supplies energy storage, EV charging, power quality and critical power equipment for AI data centres, has been named to Forbes Asia's Best Under A Billion 2026 for the second time, the company said. Its earlier appearance on the list was in 2023. The 2026 edition was published in the August issue of Forbes Asia.
How the 200 were picked
The list is unranked and covers 200 publicly listed companies drawn from more than 19,000 Asia-Pacific businesses with annual revenues of between US$10 million and US$1 billion. Selection weighed debt levels, growth in sales and earnings per share across one- and three-year periods, and return on equity over one and five years, alongside qualitative checks on corporate governance, accounting practices, environmental responsibility and management integrity. SINEXCEL was one of 28 Chinese companies on this year's list.
Growth and spending figures
The company cited a five-year compound annual growth rate of 35.05 per cent in revenue and 35.04 per cent in net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company, with return on equity and return on invested capital both above 20 per cent. Cumulative research and development spending from 2019 to 2025 came to more than US$176 million, or €157 million, and technical staff accounted for close to 30 per cent of its more than 2,600 employees in 2025.
Installed base and other awards
Founded in 2007, the company reports 17 GW of installed energy storage capacity, more than 200,000 DC electric vehicle chargers deployed, nearly 20 million amperes of active harmonic filters delivered and over 700 data centre power quality projects worldwide. It was also listed as a BloombergNEF Tier 1 Power Inverter Manufacturer for the first three quarters of 2026. The release additionally notes a Silver award in Promotion and Succession and a Bronze in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at the 2025 Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Action Awards.
