First stop on the Palm
LG Electronics has launched a UAE Winter Roadshow for its OLED evo W6, which it calls a True Wireless Wallpaper TV. The opening stop runs from 16 to 19 October 2026 at The Lotus Lounge at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, the company said. Later venues are not being named in advance; LG said it will post hints on Instagram at @lg_gulf before each pop-up.
A screen and a separate box
The LG OLED evo W6 measures 9.95mm in depth and is designed to sit flat against a wall with no gap, according to LG. Its Zero Connect technology sends 4K video and audio without loss from an AV box that can be placed up to 10 meters from the screen, so no cables run to the panel.
Instagram draw for visitors
To enter a draw for an LG OLED W6 of their own, visitors must photograph the television, post the image to an Instagram Story, tag @lg_gulf and add the hashtag #LGW6spotted. LG said followers who correctly guess an upcoming venue can also receive giveaways on the spot.
Processor and display claims
LG said the set runs on its Alpha 11 AI Processor 4K Gen3, which analyses content frame by frame to upscale images, refine faces and map virtual surround sound to a room's acoustics. The company lists Hyper Radiant Color, Brightness Booster Ultra and a Reflection Free Premium coating among the display features. LG also said the W6 is the first True Wireless TV to carry 4K at a 165Hz refresh rate, and that it supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Variable Refresh Rate, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium.
