Leekr Technology, a Chinese supplier of system-level intelligent chassis solutions, is taking its brake-by-wire, intelligent steering and chassis domain control products to international markets. The company said the portfolio is aimed at automakers working on software-defined vehicles and autonomous driving, where braking and steering systems are shifting from standalone control toward coordinated control.
On braking, Leekr Technology said its DHB-LK decoupled hydraulic braking system, a two-box design, and its IHB-LK integrated intelligent hydraulic braking system, a one-box design, are in mass production and delivery, while work continues on industrialising a next-generation electro-mechanical brake. Its steering line-up covers C/DP-EPS and R-EPS units and the SBW-LK steer-by-wire system, which the company said is still to come. A 13.5 kN high-rack-force DP-EPS has entered mass production at a Chinese smart electric vehicle automaker, for mid-size and large intelligent electric vehicle platforms.
The portfolio extends to chassis domain control through a centralised electronic control architecture that manages systems across the vehicle and coordinates longitudinal and lateral motion, with millisecond-level response, environmental robustness and over-the-air updates, the company said.
Its intelligent chassis products have covered more than 4.5 billion kilometers of on-road testing and validation, secured nominations for more than 60 vehicle programs and now serve more than 16 automakers worldwide, the company said. It holds E-MARK certification and complies with UN Regulation No. 13-H for the EU market, and is certified to IATF 16949, ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434, with its braking and steering products meeting ASIL-D functional safety levels.
Leekr Technology said it is also applying its chassis technology beyond passenger vehicles, in robotaxis, autonomous delivery, autonomous logistics, autonomous sanitation vehicles and smart travel trailers, and that it has expanded into the United States, South Africa, Türkiye and Southeast Asia.
