JMGO begins IRIS Ultra Max shipments, IRIS Ultra follows on October 26

JMGO has begun shipping pre-orders of the IRIS Ultra Max, the model it positions at the top of its IRIS series, the Shenzhen company said in the release announcing deliveries. The series was shown for the first time at IFA 2026. Pre-order shipments of the IRIS Ultra are scheduled to start on October 26.

What the series outputs

Both projectors deliver 4K at 120Hz from input to output, and both support VRR, ALLM and Dolby Vision at that resolution and refresh rate. A 4K@120Hz MEMC function is included for motion in films and sport. The company also lists hardware-level Anti-RBE, which it says reduces visible rainbow artifacts without adding noise.

Where the two models differ

Both run on JMGO's MALC 6.0 Triple-Laser Engine, use a 15-blade (6+9) dual-Iris system and JMGO AI DBL Technology, and are quoted at 110% BT.2020 coverage with color accuracy of about ΔE 0.7. The IRIS Ultra Max is rated at 10,000:1 native contrast and 6,500 ISO lumens; the IRIS Ultra at 7,000:1 and 4,500 ISO lumens. The Max adds an AI-powered gimbal with 360° pan and 150° tilt, plus AI Screen Fitting and AI Spatial Image Memory. Both offer 0.88–1.7:1 optical zoom and four-way lens shift of V ±130% and H ±53%; on the Max, that adjustment is described as lossless, as it is on the Ultra.

Prices and where to buy

The IRIS Ultra Max is priced at $3,299 against a list price of $3,499, and the IRIS Ultra at $2,199 against $2,399. JMGO said both are sold on Amazon and through its own online store. The company was founded in 2011.
