Arrvel is expanding its range of thermal label printers aimed at e-commerce sellers, small businesses and everyday labeling, the company said. The announcement, dated Shenzhen, China, said the devices are intended for shipping, inventory management, product identification and household organization.
The A42BT is a 4×6 Bluetooth thermal shipping label printer for online sellers, small businesses and home offices. It supports Bluetooth and USB connectivity so users can print from compatible smartphones, tablets and computers, and the FlashLabel Pro app also supports mobile printing, the company said. Arrvel lists print speeds of up to 150 mm/s at 203 DPI resolution. The printer handles roll and fanfold labels, takes label widths of about 1.57 to 4.3 inches, supports the 4×6-inch shipping label format, and is compatible with Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Etsy and USPS, according to the company.
The printers use direct thermal technology, which produces printed content through heat rather than ink or toner. Because the method requires no ink cartridges or ribbons, the company said it can simplify maintenance and reduce the need to replenish traditional printing supplies. Arrvel said the printers are built for e-commerce fulfillment and logistics, retail operations, office organization and household labeling.
The A42BT measures about 7.2 × 3.15 × 2.56 inches and weighs about 0.86 lb. Arrvel describes itself as a brand of Emdoor Information and a provider of industrial technology solutions specializing in rugged tablets and label printers for small businesses, backed by a publicly listed parent company with more than ten years of experience.
