Manila – Vice President Sara Duterte said visitors detained in former President Rodrigo Duterte are now prohibited from publicly revealing their discussions during their visit to the International Criminal Court (ICC) detention center.

The vice president said in an interview in The Hague that the detention department of the ICC reminded them that certain conditions must be followed when visiting detainees, in this case for their father.

“So, from now on, we can no longer discuss what is happening inside and what we are talking about inside [the detention center]She said in an interview led by former presidential spokesman Harry Roque, one of their closest allies.

“I can only say President Duterte is still alive. That’s all.” “We are not allowed to provide updates.”

The vice president is still in The Hague and is scheduled to visit her father. All her siblings also participated in the visit: Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte, acting Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, and their youngest sister, Veronica “Kitty” Duterte.

After a visit on August 27 (Dutch time), the vice president was interviewed and revealed what they talked to his father and what he was doing during his fifth month in prison.

That was the case with her earlier visit, when she revealed details of their discussion and information the former president told her or other visitors.

The former president will face the international court again on September 23 to confirm the charges.

The vice president said she will also participate in the confirmation of the charges with other relatives.

“We’re still scheduling our schedule. So we still don’t know who will fly [to The Hague] She said the charges were confirmed on September 23. But it is because, as I told them, it is necessary for us to visit him if the detention center allows. ”
