White House official slams Musk after anti-India propaganda post fact-checked on X

New Delhi – White House trade adviser and U.S. President Donald Trump, Peter Navarro’s top aide, was slammed by X on the anti-India Post on X.

Navarro, who has been targeting India’s purchase of Russian oil, claimed that India is buying Russian energy products to make a profit and that revenue is providing Ukraine with Russian war machines.

However, his post was fact-checked through community notes, a feature initiated by Elon Musk’s X to address fake and misleading information.

Community notes reveal the U.S. double standards, saying “while condemning others, the U.S. still imports billions of dollars of Russian goods every year, including uranium that is crucial to its agricultural and energy sectors, revealing a clear double standards for its trade position.

Navarro was angry at community bills for his position and accused Musk of allowing publicity to enter people’s positions.

He said: “The following nonsense is that. Nonsense. India only buys Russian oil. It didn’t buy anything until Russia invades Ukraine. The Indian government rotates the machine high tilt. Stop killing Ukrainians. Stop working in the United States,” he said.

The link between India and the United States is under pressure after Trump imposed a 50% tariff on 50% tariffs on 50% of Indian imports to the United States. Among them, purchasing Russian oil is a 25% fine.

Although India defends domestic demand, the United States claims it provides Russia with the necessary resources to continue the war in Ukraine.
